Short presentation
I have published just over 40 books in English and Swedish and a few hundred articles covering most fields in political science: political theory, idea analysis, rational choice, political parties and interest organizations, Swedish politics, global democracy, methodology.
Biography
I have published just over 40 books in English and Swedish and a few hundred articles covering most fields in political science: political theory, idea analysis, rational choice, political parties and interest organizations, Swedish politics, global democracy, methodology. I have served as Head of Department, Dean, Vice-Rector, been Chairman of Swedish University Teachers´ Union, am a member of Swedish and international academies and learned societies, have been board member of state authorities, councils and foundations, am Founder of Johan Skytte Prize in political Science, have been advisor to Ministers of Education and of Foreign Affairs and served as the government´s special investigator of school policy. I contribute to mass media and have also published four novels.
