Short presentation
I am Curator of the mineralogical collections at the Museum of Evolution. My interest in minerals goes back more than 50 years which accounts for my knowledge of specimen mineralogy and crystal morphology. I have studied granitic pegmatites (M.Sc. 1996) and have specialized in rare earth bearing niobium and tantalum oxides. I have also a strong interest in the history of mineralogy and crystallography. I specialize on crystal models and cooperate with many international museums in this field.
