Short presentation
Per Hellman is a surgeon with subspecialization in endocrine surgery. He has combined clinical work with translational research since beginning of the 90´s. He defended his thesis in 1993, became associate professor 1995 and full professor combined with a position as senior consultant in 2008. He has performed fellowships at Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston and Heinrich-Heine University, Düsseldorf, in total 2,5 years. He has published around 200 original papers.
