Short presentation
Åsa Eldén is a researcher at the Department of Government, Uppsala University involved in the project "Sexual abuse of power: Taking action against sextortion in Tanzania". She holds a PhD in sociology and is also an independent consultant and researcher collaborating with agencies and civil society organisations. Her work focuses on gender equality in development, gender-based violence, honour violence, sexual corruption, and the women’s rights movement.
