Short presentation
MD, psychiatrist, post doc researcher. My research focuses on psychiatric illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Other research interests are breastfeeding and gender dysphoria.
Biography
I am a medical doctor, specialized in psychiatry. I completed my dissertation in 2012 on a thesis on postpartum depression, and have since continued my research with a main focus on women's mental health. I have several ongoing collaborations with researchers from the Dep of Women's and Children's Health, Uppsala University, as well as collaborations with researchers from Psychiatry on the topic Gender Dysphoria, among other things.
I have a great interest in projects expanding outside the medical field, and have extensive positive experiences of interdisciplinary projects, such as Mother Anyways together with colleagues from Gender studies and Literature at Uppsala University, as well as the ongoing MotherNet project with colleagues from Lithuania and Ireland.
