Short presentation

This paragraph is not available in English, therefore the Swedish version is shown.

I am a solid state physicist focusing on understanding the physics of nano materials such as thin films. My research interests involve hydrogen uptake in metals, and their impact on physical properties of nano materials. The hydrogen team uses a problem based approach to science, and we tailor-make samples to address specific scientific questions. We use optical, x-ray, and neutron scattering to see where the hydrogen goes and spectroscopic methods to understand what the hydrogen does.

Keywords: neutron scattering hydrogen in metals standing wave photomemission hard x-ray photoemission light scattering x-ray diffraction x-ray reflectometry

Research

  • Neutron scattering
  • Dimensionality aspects of phase transitions
  • Energy related materials for hydrogen storage
  • X-ray and light scattering
