Short presentation
My research group is developing protein based biological drugs. Our main focus is to enable them to reach their targets efficiently by adding transporters to them.
The diseases we are working with are Alzheimers, Parkinsons, epilepsy and some types of tumors. We are using biochemical methods, in vitro and in vivo analysis to understand the processes and how to prevent or take advantages of them.
We are also developing methods for increased protein production in mammalian cells.
