Gisela Bengtsson is a researcher affiliated with the Department of Philosophy at Uppsala University. Bengtsson holds a Dr. Art. from the University of Oslo and has held a FRI-HUM indvidual post doc fellowship from the Research Council of Norway to work on the project Frege and the Distinction between Literature, Science and Philosophy. Her research areas include Wittgenstein's philosophy, Frege, philosophy and literature, conceptions of rationality and language acquisition.

Gisela Bengtsson is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her research interests include Wittgenstein's philosophy, Frege, Cora Diamond, philosophy and literature, conceptions of rationality and communication, metaphor, and language acquisition. The aim of her current research project is to explore different conceptions of philosophy, and to seek answers to the question of what characterizes a philosophical investigation with a focus on the relation between the work of Frege and Wittgenstein. Bengtsson holds a Dr. Art. from the University of Oslo with a dissertation on Wittgenstein's conception of philosophy. She will be a guest at the Department of Philosophy in Uppsala as a holder of a personal post-doctoral research fellowship from the Research Council of Norway from January 1, 2014.
