Short presentation
Dr Méric is a group leader based at the Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute in Melbourne, Australia, as well as a visiting researcher in Prof Tove Fall's research group at Uppsala University. He is a microbiologist and bioinformatician and his research interests include the links between infection and human gut microbiome composition and health, using large human population cohort multi-omics datasets but also the population genomics of clinical, environmental and veterinary bacterial pathogens.
