Short presentation
I'm a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in Philosophy at Uppsala University.
I'm a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Philosophy at Uppsala University, where my research is funded by the European Union through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship. Previously, I was a Lecturer in Philosophy at Exeter College, University of Oxford.
I completed my PhD at UCL, during which I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to Princeton University, where I conducted part of my PhD. Before that, I did an MPhil in Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews, and my undergraduate studies in Lisbon and St. Andrews.
I'm a first-generation university graduate. Before attending university, I lived the (obviously much less exciting) life of an almost-professional footballer in Portugal, where I was born and grew up.

My research lies at the intersection of value theory, normative theory, vagueness and indeterminacy, two phenomena that have received a great deal of attention in the so-called 'core' areas of analytic philosophy but whose significance for value and normativity has largely been neglected.
My project at Uppsala is at the intersection of ethics and vagueness. For more about it, see here.
