Short presentation
My main research interests are in aesthetics and the philosophy of art, in particular philosophical issues pertaining to pictures and photographs. Other areas of interest include topics in the philosophy of mind (imagination and perception) and in metaphysics ('minor entities', shadows, darkness, stillness, and other absences).
I received my PhD from Stockholm (2012), and have for a number of years been teaching at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, before moving back to Sweden in autumn 2020.
