Short presentation
I am professor in mathematics education and deputy head of curriculum studies. My research focuses on algebra learning, computational thinking and textbook analyses. Currently, I am running a research project together with Cecilia Kilhamn and Lennart Rolandsson which investigates the implementation of programming in Swedish school mathematics. In particular, I am interested in how syntax and semantics of programming languages are aligned with or divert from corresponding algebraic symbolism.
