PhD, Senior Faculty Administrator at the Faculty of Arts
I am Senior Faculty Administrator at the Faculty of Arts.
My main areas of responsibility are administrating and investigating matters regarding undergraduate (first-cycle and second-cycle) education as well as postgraduate education, handling research related issues, investigating and documenting matters to be decided by the faculty board (the decision-making body of the faculty). These duties frequently take place on the faculty level, on the disciplinary Domain level as well as on the central (University) level.
Key responsibilities also include participation in permanent or temporary working groups appointed by the Faculty board or by the Disciplinary Domain board. In addition, the position also comprises administration of international and organizational issues as well as participation in investigative processes preceding the Vice-Chancellor’s executive meetings.
Background
I hold a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Uppsala University. After having finished my postgraduate education in 2008, I worked as a researcher at the Ethnographic Museum in Stockholm, and also as a lecturer and researcher at Dalarna University. In 2013, I returned to Uppsala University and spent two years as a lecturer and director of studies at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Etnology. I have worked at the Faculty Office for Humanities and Social Sciences since August 2015.
