Kristina Helgesson Kjellin

I am Associate professor in Cultural Anthropology at Church of Sweden Research Department, and Uppsala University. My most recent research focuses on church belonging and identity in relation to migration, integration, and hospitality in the Swedish context. In 2006 I defended a PhD-thesis on Pentecostalism in post-apartheid South Africa. The interdisciplinary meeting between anthropology and theology, and the research field Anthropology of Christianity, are of particular interest to me.
