PhD candidate in Ancient Egyptian text and language with a focus on diachronic linguistics and semantics. My PhD thesis is a study in the development of adjectives through the different stages of the Egyptian language which focuses on the semantic changes and uses of different adjectives and their interchangeability. Other research interests include social history, cognitive linguistics, and the shaping of society through language.
