PhD student at Department of Modern Languages, Finno-Ugric Languages
The idea of my PhD project is to make a new, basic survey of the Lule Saami dialects, also taking into account up to now overlooked dialects. I interview approx. 30 people whose language will then be analysed quantitatively according to lexical, morphological, and phonological/phonetic features. My thesis will be published in 2025. I am also generally occupied with Saami morphology, phonology, history of language etc., as well as with other Northern European languages.
