Short presentation

PhD student since 2019. My research is situated somewhere on the boundary between the worlds of human geography, memory studies and the theory and history of art. Specifically, I dissertation concerns the memory landscapes of diaspora and migration through the lens of contemporary visual art. I am also interested in topics such as Swedish-American emigration history; public art; heritage studies; and music.

I am a co-chair of the Memory Studies Association Memory, Space & Place working group.
