Short presentation
PhD candidate since 2019. My research lies at the intersection of cultural and historical geography, memory studies, and the theory and history of art. My dissertation delves into the memory landscapes of global diasporas and migration, through the lens of two contemporary visual artists: Yael Bartana and Michael Rakowitz.
I am also interested in topics such as Swedish-American emigration history; public art; heritage studies; and music.
