Short presentation
ENKÄT OM SPORTFISKE PÅ GOTLAND
My PhD project focuses on human-nature relationships, social-ecological systems and ecosystem services from an environmental psychology perspective. Specifically, I am interested in the human dimensions of recreational fisheries and fishing tourism. The goal of the project is to get a better understanding of the attitudes, preferences and (intended) behaviors of anglers in relation to the fishing activity, the fishing site, and fisheries management.
Keywords
- human dimensions
- natural resource management
- recreational fisheries
- social-ecological systems
Biography
During my BSc and MSc education in biology I worked on several projects related to aquatic ecology, water management, stakeholder collaboration and public perceptions. The interface between nature, science and civil society has formed the red thread through my work, which I continue in my work as a PhD candidate.
