Short presentation
I am currently undergoing my doctoral studies at the department of Women and Children's heath, International Maternal and Children's health unit. I am carrying out research in the field of Gender Based violence. My doctoral project is titled "Violence among University Students; exploring the phenomenon of Ragging in Sri Lanka", in the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. My background is in medicine and I have worked as a doctor for the ministry of health in Sri Lanka for several years.
I am a Medical doctor, I completed my medical degree in the St. Petersburg Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2003.
I have a diploma in Child health from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2008.
I completed my Master's in International health from the Uppsala University, Sweden in 2018.
