Short presentation
I am an Assistant Professor in Machine Learning, specialisation in societal impact, at the Beijer Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. My research focuses on building novel machine learning and Artificial Intelligence approaches to extract knowledge from a variety of data (documents, images, videos), and to efficiently deliver it to the general public. I am also working part-time as an AI Scientist at Silo AI.

My research interests include text recognition (OCR, Handwritten), text/image/video classification, image quality enhancement, Large Language Modeling, Natural Language Processing tasks (sentiment analysis, Named entity recognition), privacy-preserved text modeling, and ethical AI. My research is highly interdisciplinary and collaborative, with partners across domains and civic bodies.
