Tove Larsson has a PhD in English Linguistics. Her research centers primarily around corpus-based studies of learner English, with a particular focus on second-language writing, lexico-grammar and register variation. She also has a keen interest in research methodology.

Tove Larsson has a PhD in English Linguistics from Uppsala University. She has taught courses and seminars on linguistics, statistics, and oral and written communication in English at Uppsala University, Stockholm University, Södertörn University, the Royal Institute of Technology, and UCLouvain (in Belgium), as well as at high-school level.
