Short presentation
Tina Mathisen’s PhD-thesis examines young former refugees’ experiences of place attachment and negotiations of belonging in Norway. Particular interests: migration, belonging, racialization processes, translocality, and qualitative participatory methods.
Current projects: “Creative and entrepreneurial edges” (Funded by Handelsbanken, 2020 -), “Migration impact assessment to enhance integration and local development in European rural and mountain regions/ MATILDE” (Funded by Horizon 2020, 2020-).
