Short presentation
I work with 1) global and historical archaeology, 2) Indo-European history and Scandinavian archaeology from the Bronze Age onwards and 3) water and environmental history. Thematically, I focus on cremation and death, water and societal development, and culture and comparative religion in changing environments. I have conducted ethnographic and archaeological fieldworks in Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, Jordan, India, Nepal, Norway, Palestine, Sweden, Tanzania and Uganda.
