To visualize memory loss, that is the goal with my research. As a Ph D student at the division of the Preclincal PET Platform, department of Medicinal Chemistry I synthesize potential PET tracers for a target located inside cholinergic neurons. Novel compounds are labeled with the short-lived nuclide carbon-11 and evaluated for their potential use as a PET tracer.
