I obtained my MD degree from the University of Ioannina Medical School in Greece in 2006 and have since 2007 moved to Sweden. I completed my training as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Akademiska University Hospital in Uppsala in 2013. Since then I have been serving as a Junior Consultant at the Department of Knee and Shoulder Surgery. My key areas of expertise are arthroscopic and trauma surgery, osteotomies, sports medicine, and cartilage pathologies. As a Ph.D. Candidate, I have focused on bone biology and biomaterials.
