Astrophysicist specialising in atomic processes relevant to astrophysics, especially stellar spectroscopy. Interested in fundamental atomic and molecular processes, stars and their environments, evolution of the elements, and the history of the Milky Way.

I was born in Melbourne, Australia, but grew up in Brisbane. I studied physics at the University of Queensland before coming to work at Uppsala University.

I work on stellar spectroscopy, especially related atomic processes, and its applications to understanding the stars, the formation of the Milky Way, and the evolution of the elements.
