Nina von Uexkull is Associate Professor at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research and Director of the Uppsala Rotary Peace Center. Her main research areas are the impacts of climate change and natural hazards on armed conflict and human security, combining advanced statistical methods with surveys and field interviews. She currently leads the project ‘Petroleum, prices and protests: The impact of climate change mitigation on social unrest’ (Swedish Research Council 2021-2024).
