I am proficient in numerical modelling and have been working on development of an atmosphere-ocean-wave coupled model. My research focuses on the effects of ocean surface waves on air-sea momentum and heat fluxes, and their influence on the atmospheric boundary layer and extreme processes such as tropical cyclone.

My research works at Uppsala University will focus on swell-induced momentum flux from waves to the atmosphere and impacts of waves on the misalignment between wind stress and mean wind. My goal is to better understand the role of ocean surface waves in modulating air-sea fluxes, thereby improving forecasting of offshore wind energy.
