I obtained my PhD degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (CN) and the Collège de France (FR, co-supervision) in 2018. My doctoral dissertation was on the synthesis and mechanistic understanding of oxyfluorides as high-energy cathodes for Li-/Na-ion batteries. After graduation, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute (CH) for three years, specializing in operando gas analysis for various battery chemistries. I joined the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University (SE) as of 2021 for a second postdoc training to develop new battery testing methodologies. I have received the Swedish Research Council (VR) starting grant 2023-2026.
I was/am associated with the following teaching activities:
@UU: 1KB208 Inorganic Chemistry, 1KB276 Batteries for Electromobility, 1KB744 Introduction to Energy Storage, 1KB729 Synthesis of Battery Materials, 1KB738 Rechargeable Batteries, 1EL003 Introduction to Electromobility
@ETH Zürich: 529-0507-00L Hands-on Electrochemistry for Energy Storage and Conversion Applications
