I am a Lecturer, an Engineer and a Researcher in Virtual Reality, Digital Twins and Metaverse major in Mathematics and Computer Applied Technology. My research application fields widely range from everyday life to traditional research fields (i.e. Geography and Transportation, Biology and Chemistry, Medicine and Rehabilitation, Industry and Entertainment). During the past years, I have completed several projects successfully on PC, Website, Smartphone and Smartglasses.

I have contributed 300 papers including more than 100 papers on IEEE/ACM Transactions. I'm Editor-in-Chief of Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems(KeAi), an Associate Editor of ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation System, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Transaction on Computational Social Systems, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, Early Career Advisory Board member of IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica. I'm General Chair, Co-Chair or TPC of 50 conferences including Area Chair of ACM MM 2021-2023, Workshop Chair of ACM MM 2023, Online Experience Chair of IEEE VR 2023, Sponsorship Chair of MobileHCI 2023, Program Committee member of ACM IUI 2015-2023. I have reviewed 400 papers. I have received more than 20 awards from China, Europe, IEEE. I have supervised the students to get more than 20 awards. I have won 8 Best Paper awards. I have given 80 invited talks for universities and companies in Europe and China. I have given 20 keynote talks for International conferences. My research has been featured by popular news media outlets, including AAAS, SCIENMAG, APNEWS, Fox News, ABC News, CBS News.

I have started to write computer program since 1998, using FoxBase on 386. A Tank War game has been done in 1999 using QuickBASIC on 486. Hence, I have learned C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and popular compilers (Visual Studio, Xcode, Eclipse, Matlab).

I have enjoyed research experience at French National Centre for Scientific Research(CNRS)-UPR9080 at Paris in France, at Umea University at Umea in Sweden, at Virtual Environments and Computer Graphics(VECG) group at University College London(UCL) at London in UK, at Event Lab at University of Barcelona at Barcelona in Spain.

I have contributed to some projects. Recent years I am working on the combination of VR, IoT and AI, that is Digital Twins, and Human-Computer-Human-Interaction, that is Metaverse.
