My main research interest is to explore how people's everyday practices can become more environmentally sustainable and the role that digital technologies could play in this transition. I have previously worked in different projects with particular interest in the role that digital technologies could play for enabling and facilitating sustainable practices. I have also worked in transdisciplinary research projects focusing on waste management, sustainable transportation and low-carbon futures.

Forskning

I am currently working with USER group, an interdisciplinary research group that focuses on electricity consumers’ and prosumers’ role in bringing to fruition the vision of future smart grids. The research focuses mainly on user behavior and sociotechnical aspects of flexible demand, but also decentralized generation, storage and electric vehicles as well as products and services associated therewith.

UppFlex is an applied project aiming at facilitating and increasing demand flexibility in the Uppsala region, and works closely with actors from both public and private sectors.

Another project where I am involved investigates the role of energy feedback to households, as well as exploring how feedback on one's own electricity consumption relates to understanding the concept of power.
