I'm a doctoral candidate in Computerized Image Processing with Wählby lab lead by Prof. Carolina Wählby at Centre for Image Analysis, Uppsala University, Sweden. The current research focus is to develop measurements for early detection of informative data from large scale spatial and temporal experiments under the supervision of Prof. Wählby. The interdisciplinary research is part of the HASTE project funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research(SSF) in close collaboration with SciLife Lab and multiple industrial partners(Astra Zeneca, Vironova AB).

Prior to this, I worked as a Research Engineer at ARTORG Center for Biomedical Research, University of Bern. My project focused on video-based instrument tracking in laparoscopic surgery. I received my Master of Technology( M.Tech.) degree in Medical Imaging and Informatics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur(IIT Kharagpur) in 2017; B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Indore.

I've been working on developing machine learning-based methods in computer vision and image processing to facilitate diagnosis and analysis in medicine. My research interests include quantitative microscopy, electron and light microscopy, pattern analysis and machine intelligence, deep learning and their application in microscopy, ophthalmology, and navigated surgery.
