Tom Chabosseau is a PhD candidate at the department of sociology and a member of the Uppsala Laboraty of Economic Sociology. His research interests focus on global governance, political embeddedness, theory of the firm and logistics.
Tom earns a master's degree in sociology from École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and a bachelor's degree in economics from Panthéon-Sorbonne University. He is also a former student at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan.

Dissertation research
Tom's dissertation research looks at logistics industry's responses to growing political and economic uncertainties facing international trade through an organizational lens. The empirical focus is on shipping lines' strategical shift toward further integration of the supply chain. Methodologically, the research design combines qualitative case studies and quantitative analyses.
