Oskar Hultin Bäckersten

I am a doctoral candidate at the Department of Government since 2017.

My research interests concern political participation, political attitudes, and political parties. My dissertation (set to be defended in February 2024) concerns aspects of public opinion vital for the representative link in modern democracies. I study questions regarding ideological polarization, Left-Right attitudes, and intra-party congruence.
