Kort presentation
My dissertation project explores the link between climate change, disasters and the likelihood of various kinds of conflict. It further investigates the relationship at looking into potential intervention such as environmental migration, and conditioning factors such as quality of national and sub-national political institutions. The project employs both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Kristina Petrova is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research and Centre of Natural Hazards and Disaster Science (CNDS) . Her current work is also associated with a political Violence Early Warning System (ViEWS) and MISTRA Geopolitics projects.
