I have conducted my postgraduate research in multinational environments with good success and independence. I have developed expertise within materials science and energy storage research. I have co-authorized 27 articles in peer-reviewed leading journals in my field (e.g. PNAs, JACS, Nano Energy, Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Science, J. Mater Chem. A, ChemSusChem, and J. of Energy Chemistry). I have been the first-author in 15 publications and the corresponding author for eight. I have presented my research at international conferences and have been awarded E-MRS-2018 graduated student award.

I am currently doing my second postdoc at the chemistry department in Uppsala university with funding from Batteries Sweden (BASE) center involving many industrial partners. I did my first postdoc at Linköping University (April 2019 to October 2021), my research was focused on the synthesis of 2D transition metal carbides (MXenes) and their applications in energy storage (e.g., supercapacitors and Li-ion battery). During my first postdoc studies, I established for the first time the use of Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors within Prof. Rosen group. Also, I was co-supervisor for one PhD student at Linköping University.

I conducted my PhD studies at Materials and Environmental Chemistry (MMK) department in Stockholm University (Sep. 2014 to Feb. 2019). My PhD research focused on the synthesis of inorganic 2D materials using environmentally friendly methods. The prepared 2D materials were used in photocatalysis, plasmonic resonance, and energy storage (e.g. Li-ion and Na-ion batteries) applications. I was also involved in the battery group at Uppsala University during my last three years of PhD studies as I established a collaboration between Stockholm and Uppsala universities. I did my master studies at imec-Belgium & KU-Leuven Belgium (Sep. 2011 to June 2013), which involved conformal deposition of MnO2 and spinel-LiMn2O4 cathodes for 3D Li-ion battery.
