Kort presentation

My doctoral research focuses on the ways in which human vulnerability and its causes are seen in Spinoza´s thought. I focus especially on Spinoza´s account of imagination, affects and reason and the tension that their interaction brings into Spinoza´s ethical-political ideas.
My other research interests concern philosophical anthropology, political philosophy, early modern philosophy and philosophy of emotions.
I began my doctoral studies at the University of Helsinki with a stipend from Finnish Cultural Foundation. In 2016 I joined the philosophy department and Engaging Vulnerability –research project at Uppsala University where my doctoral research focuses on the ways in which human vulnerability and its causes are seen in Spinoza´s thought. I focus especially on Spinoza´s account of imagination, affects and reason and the tension that their interaction brings into Spinoza´s ethical-political ideas.
In addition to Helsinki and Uppsala I have studied philosophy in University of Iceland and CUNY, New York.
My other research interests concern philosophical anthropology, political philosophy, early modern philosophy and philosophy of emotions.
