Kort presentation
James Sallis is a Professor at the Department of Business Studies where he teaches marketing, research methods, and statistics in the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs. He is statistical advisor for the department's faculty, and a supervisor for doctoral students. Dr. Sallis is a frequent guest lecturer at business schools in China, Vietnam, France, and Canada.

Dr. Sallis' primary research interests concern relationship learning, service innovation, and internationalization of services. He has published in the Journal of Marketing, the European Journal of Marketing, International Marketing Review, in books, and in several conference proceedings.
He has reviewed articles for the Journal of Marketing, International Business Review, the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Management, and the International Journal of Operations and Production Management.
Before coming to Uppsala, he was a lecturer and doctoral fellow at the Norwegian School of Management BI. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Marketing Management from BI, and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to his academic career he worked for many years in the motion picture industry in Canada and the United States.
