Anna Michalski is Associate Professor at the Department of Government, Uppsala University and Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium. She is Senior Associate Senior Researcher at the Swedish Institute for International Affairs and chair for the Swedish Network for European Studies in Political Science and member of the Swedish Network for Foreign Policy Analysis. Her teaching and research interests span over international relations and European politics.
My research interests span over the fields of international relations, European politics and Nordic foreign policy. Current research projects involve the EU-China relations, European diplomatic practices and socialization, Role Theory and the changing foreign role conceptions of Nordic foreign and security policy as well as Sweden's grand strategy.
Teaching and Administration
I am currently teaching courses at Uppsala University in qualitative methods, and international politics on Bachelor and Master levels. I am also teaching a course at the College or Europe entitled: 'The Evolving Relations between EU and China: Partnership and Competition in a Changing World Order'.
I supervise on the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
